Last year when we renewed our gas and electricity contract we were able to receive quotes that were held for a certain period of time, which gave us time to come to a decision and contact the supplier of our choice. This year I had not anticipated how competitive the electricity and gas market had become and what pressure was put on us as a business to make a decision over the phone with a couple of hours to negotiate, prices that could apparently only be held for that same day. The following day the whole merry-go-round would start again! I don’t think I can change that process but can only say how very pleasant, re-assuring and helpful Abdul Hassan has been during that time when we were contacted by many other companies. He was keen enough to get a our business by contacting me several times but I never felt pushed. In the end he came up with the best price and a great offer on our gas standing charge as icing on the cake. It’s nerve racking because if I make an error and have no arrangements in place it could cost us dearly and we would not have any production in our factory! I hope that we have no reason to contact Abdul any further but feel assured that if there are any queries with our new suppliers he can help us as promised. Thanks Abdul! All the best.
